London – BBC Worldwide announced the launch of the second Teletubbies Play and Development Centre with their licensee Shenzhen Tianyuan Business Management (SZTY) in Southern China. The centre, which provides a one of its kind environment for Chinese children to learn through play, opened to the public on September 20 in Shenzhen, China. The second Teletubbies Play and Development Centre launches following the success of the initial Centre which opened in the same province in February 2006. The Centres offer age appropriate activities for children to develop early learning skills in a fun environment that also enhances the curriculum and gives parents a safe environment that both entertains and educates their children.
