Singapore—HBO Asia has expanded distribution of its multiplex channels. HBO Signature, HBO Family and HBO Hits bowed in Thailand on TrueVisions in July. HBO Family and HBO Hits launched this month in Sri Lanka on Dialog TV and Lanka Broadband Networks , bringing to five the number of HBO channels carried by those two cable operators. HBO, Cinemax and HBO Signature are also available in Sri Lanka on Comet Cable. “Our multiplex channels are launched in all major markets and we are in talks with cable operators in other countries in the region as these additional channels help to drive ARPU and to grow our affiliates’ business,” says an HBO Asia spokesperson.
