Sprout strengthens its’ programming slate

  New York – Sprout, NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment’s 24-hour preschool network, will expand its growing original programming slate with the addition of Remy and Boo. Multiple sales for Floogals

Zodiak Kids announces further sales for its groundbreaking preschool show Floogals into Asia and France. New sales across Asia include Thai PBS Kids, Radio Television Hong Kong, MediaCorp (Singapore) and Discovery Kids Asia Networks has picked up the show in a pan territory deal. Agents I-Intellect and WeKids have picked up the broadcast rights to Malaysia and China respectively. Zodiak Kids and Sprout announced the launch of Kody Kapow, the newest addition to Sprout’s increasing portfolio of original series. Munich– Studio 100 Media announced today that Sprout, NBCUniversal’s preschool TV network, has acquired the rights for both the new CGI series and 3D feature of worldwide popular brand Maya the Bee. “Super Wings” takes flight to the Americas

CJ E&M announced that its animated preschool series, Super Wings, has been sold to major broadcasters in the Americas including Sprout (U.S.) who will premiere the series on 14 March and Discovery Kids (LATAM) who will premiere in the second quarter.  These latest broadcasters are in addition to TV deals already completed for the series with Canal Plus’ Piwi+ (France), SVT (Sweden), YLE (Finland) and EBS (South Korea). Zodiak Kids Starts Animation on the “Floogals”

Zodiak Kids’ UK production company, The Foundation announced it has started animation on its brand new mixed-media pre-school show, Floogals. The 52 x 11’ series has been commissioned by Sprout, the NBC-Universal owned kids channel with a 55 million audience reach, who will also co-produce.
