Netflix wins its first BAFTA TV award with “Breaking Bad”

SPT to bring “The Dr. Oz Show” to Thailand
Hong Kong – Sony Pictures Television (SPT) announced on May 6 that it has concluded a deal with pay-TV platform TrueVisions to bring its popular, health-focused, multi-topic magazine talk show format The Dr. Oz Show to audiences across Thailand. Peru to host Banijay International’s “Mentor”
London – Peru is the latest country to host Banijay International’s Mentor as America TV signs the entertainment format for primetime. Commercial channel America TV, the highest rating broadcaster in Peru, has commissioned a 13 x 60’ Peruvian version of Mentor which will be broadcast in a primetime weekend slot later this year. Lifetime to be launched in Latin America and Brazil
New York and Miami – A+E Networks Latin America, a joint venture between A+E Networks and Ole Communications, and Sony Pictures Television announced on April 23 that they will launch Lifetime in Latin America and Brazil. The channel will debut in July 2014.
