Luxembourg – SES has confirmed its global leadership in HD broadcasting, with more than 1,300 HD channels on its satellite fleet worldwide. The recent SES channel count shows that more than a quarter of the 5,200 TV channels distributed by SES are HD. Kazakhstan - The launch of an SES-5 satellite was postponed today for technical reasons with the launch vehicle. The satellite is being launched for SES of Luxembourg and was built by Space Systems/Loral.
