A Whole New Beginning, Talpa’s new reality format, has secured fantastic ratings since its launch early January on RTL4 in the Netherlands. In comparison to the channel average in the target audience (20-49), last night’s episode even had a +50% increase in market share. Grandpas’ Over Flowers set for adaptation

  Los Angeles – Hit reality format Grandpas Over Flowers, also known as NBC ratings smash Better Late Than Never, is now set for adaptation in Italy, it was announced by Los Angeles and London based format company Small World IFT. The deal, brokered by Small World in collaboration with Endemol Shine Italy, will see a local version of the show making its Italian debut on RAI 2 in 2017. Mumbai – BBC Worldwide Productions in India is producing a brand new reality series for youth focussed Channel (v) entitled My Big Decision. The seven part series, hosted by Bollywood star Sandhya Mridul, will premiere on 14 January. Asia gets a makeover

Endemol announced its long running worldwide hit Extreme Makeover: Home Edition has been commissioned for a local version in Asia. Associated Broadcasting Company in the Philippines has ordered a 12 episode first series of the format to run on local channel TV5. The show will be produced in Tagalog and will go out as monthly specials. This will be the first Asian version of the blockbuster format, which to date has been broadcast in 185 countries.
