The three-branded Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television (FAST) channels: VILN, The Apartment, and Inspire provide a new dimension to free streaming entertainment through providing diverse and localised content across the three regions. VILN will deliver compelling true crime stories from East and West, The Apartment will showcase high-stakes design competitions hosted by Jamie Durie, and Inspire offers uplifting, faith-based programming for Millennial and Gen Z viewers.
The launch of these channels, comes off the back of Samsung TV Plus – Samsung’s free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) service expanding into Southeast Asia at the end of 2024.As the first Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to introduce a FAST service in the region, Samsung TV Plus is now accessible on millions of Samsung Smart TVs across Singapore, the Philippines and Thailand, offering users instant access to subscription free entertainment TV.

VILN: True Crime from East to West
VILN presents the gripping world of true crime with stories that traverse cultural and geographical boundaries. It brings riveting narratives, from mysteries to high-profile cases, capturing the universal intrigue of crime and justice. The channel targets male and female viewers aged 25-54 across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, North America, and Southeast Asia. Programming is in English, supplemented by subtitles, featuring a variety of American and Asian shows and movies. The key titles include “Under Cover Asia” (2014-2020), “The Dark/Web” (2019), “Code of Law” (2012–2020), and many others.
Inspire TV: Get Inspired.
Inspire TV is a faith-based channel offering uplifting and spiritually enriching content for Christian Gen Z and Millennials. It features family-friendly films and TV shows rated G or PG. The broadcast follows a linear model with synchronized scheduling across time zones and organizes content into hour blocks, emphasizing specific themes and key programs during weekends. Inspire TV offers themes centered on spiritual and community values, showcased through key programs like “Princess Cut 1, 2, 3” and “Wai Lana Yoga.”
The Apartment: Where Creativity Meets Competition
For design enthusiasts and reality TV fans, The Apartment delivers high-stakes design competitions hosted by Jamie Durie, appealing to viewers with a passion for creativity and international design aesthetics. Programming on The Apartment TV offers a comprehensive viewing experience by featuring all six seasons of “The Apartment,” with over 100 episodes available back-to-back.
