Imagine Communications has taken a leading role in Al Wousta, a new television channel owned by Sharjah Broadcasting Authority (SBA) and broadcast from Al Dhaid, the capital of the Emirate of Sharjah. A complete greenfield installation set in a striking state-of-the-art new building, the station is entirely reliant on IP connectivity using the SMPTE ST 2110 family of standards. CNBC expands Middle East footprint with new Dubai studio

Dubai, Paris – Eutelsat Communications  presented the results of its industry-benchmark survey on TV trends across the Middle East and North Africa at the ASBU BroadcastPro Selevision Summit in Dubai. Satellite TV reception in the MENA region has continued to increase its market-share compared to terrestrial and IPTV, and now reaches into 59 million homes. Eutelsat broadcasts TV into 274 million homes

Paris – Eutelsat Communications revealed headline figures of research on the number of homes receiving channels broadcast by eight of its flagship television neighbourhoods serving Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
