Thailand’s NBTC passes “must-have” rules for sporting events
The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) has approved a draft of "must-have" rules to govern free-TV broadcasters transmitting six international sporting events through all broadcast platforms without any conditions. Fewer Singaporeans interested in the FIFA World Cup: Survey
Singapore - A new survey conducted by TNS shows that fewer Singaporeans will be tuning in to the World Cup games this year. The survey, which polled some 1,000 respondents revealed that overall interest in the World Cup matches in Singapore has dipped by almost 13 percentage points – down from 80% of respondents in 2006 to 67% in 2010.
