“Beat the Blondes” to launch in China
After the successful launch of Celebrity Splash in the country, Eyeworks will see the second of its flagship formats produced in China in a year. 3C Media will adapt Beat the Blondes for the market and produce 13 episodes this spring for a selection of regional free TV channels in Jiangxi, Henan, Chongqing, Shanxi, Qingdao TV, and Hubei, with more to be added soon. On November 13, 2013, the Dutch court ruled in favor of Eyeworks by rejecting Banijay’s claims in relation to potential infringement of their sports event programme TV Total Turmspringen (Stars in Danger) by Eyeworks' entertainment format Celebrity Splash.
