Hong Kong – Fashion One has launched on the entry pack of Chunghwa Telecom, an operator of broadband multimedia services in Taiwan. Li expands into East Asia
Taipei – LI TV HOLDINGS (Li) is continuing its expansion in Asia, launching in Taiwan on kbro, a cable platform; Chunghwa Telecom MOD, an IPTV platform; as well as the IPTV arm of Hong Kong Broadband Network, bbTV in Hong Kong. Chunghwa Telecom lowers Multimedia On Demand forecast
Taiwan's Chunghwa Telecom has lowered its forecast for end-year subscribers on its Multimedia on Demand (MOD) fibre network. The telco now expects to reach 700,000 customers by the end of this year, and 1 million by the end of 2010. Chunghwa had been hoping to reach 2 million MOD customers by the end of 2010, according to reports in news website Benzinga.
