CJ E&M to co-produce “We Are Men 2” with Giant Media
Seoul, Korea – CJ E&M announced on May 20 that it will co-produce the drama We Are Men 2 with Chinese firm Giant Media Co., Ltd. Starring Korean and Chinese actors Park Hae-jin, Zhang Liang, and Fu Xinbo, the drama is scheduled to air in 2015. Globo renews partnership with CCTV
Chinese Central Television (CCTV) has just renewed its partnership with Globo. Global digital TV conversion to increase by 131 million
Based on forecasts for 138 countries, the number of digital TV homes will increase by more than 1 billion between 2010 and 2020 to 1.68 billion – or up by 185%, according to a new report from Digital TV Research. The Digital TV World Household Forecasts report estimates that the digital TV total will climb by 131 million in 2014 alone. The Korea Herald reports that Korea’s popular drama My Love from the Star will be released this summer as a movie in China, according to Chinese news reports on May 7.
