The London 2012 Olympic Games delivered the biggest national television event since current measuring systems began, with 51.9 million (90% of the UK population) watching at least 15 minutes of coverage. Roger Mosey is Acting Director of BBC Vision
BBC Director-General Mark Thompson announced that Roger Mosey, the BBC's current Director of London 2012, has been appointed Acting Director of BBC Vision. In an email to BBC staff, Thompson said Mosey will assume his new position on August 20. Dave Gordon, currently the head of major events at BBC Sport, will take over Mosey’s role as Director.
