Fuji Television Network wins ratings contest
Tokyo - According to ratings agency Video Research, Fuji Television Network won the overall ratings contest in 2009 for the sixth straight year. Fuji TV scored an average 13.5 per cent share in the golden time period (7-10 pm), a 13.4 per cent rating in primetime (7-11 pm) and an 8.6 per cent rating in the all-day category (6 am-midnight). Asia to become the world leader in 3D TV
Asia is leading the global 3D broadcasting industry, stepping ahead of the US and Europe, reports The Chosun Ilbo. Singapore - Subscribers of Hong Kong Cable now have access to BBC Lifestyle, BBC Entertainment and CBeebies. China - National broadcaster CCTV launched the country's first internet television station CNTV.cn, reports People's Daily Online.
