Asia Pacific leads IPTV equipment sales with 48% of revenues in Q2
Asia Pacific led worldwide sales of IPTV equipment in the second quarter of this year, accounting for 48% of all revenue, according to Infonetics Research. Its report, IPTV Equipment, Services, Subscribers and Capex, found that worldwide sales of IPTV equipment reached US$562.4 million in the second quarter of this year, up 33% from the previous quarter. People pay-TV penetration in Oz tops 31%
Sydney - The subscription TV universe in Australia now reaches 31% of all Australian people and 27% of all Australian homes, equating to 6.1 million people and 2.01 million homes. That’s according to figures released last week by the Australian Subscription Television and Radio Association.
