“Top Chef” secures new international sales
London – Top Chef, NBCUniversal’s Emmy-award winning cooking format, has been sold to more international broadcasters, with local versions to air in Indonesia and Spain. SCTV, Indonesia’s number one terrestrial network, will air 13 two-hour episodes in the third quarter of 2013. This deal marks NBCUniversal’s first format sale in Southeast Asia. The Beijing based company FCCE China says it is actively looking for new formats and concepts for the Chinese market. This follows the successful collaboration of FCCE China and Heilongjiang TV for the Dutch Emmy nominated cross-media format Entertainment Experience. MIPTV: Endemol unveils new formats line up from across Europe and the USA
