Kuala Lumpur - MEASAT Global Berhad (MEASAT Global) has entered into an agreement with MEASAT Broadcast Network Systems Sdn. Bhd. (ASTRO) for capacity on the MEASAT-3b satellite. Under the agreement, ASTRO has committed to leasing 18 Ku-band transponders on MEASAT-3b for the life of the satellite for its Direct-To-Home (DTH) services in Malaysia and Brunei. Huawei leads 19 million Indian STB market with 24% share
Singapore – Nearly 70% of set-top boxes (STB) installed in Indian households are imported from foreign manufacturers, especially from China. In 2011, Huawei was the top STB vendor in India with 24% market share, followed by Pace with 12% market share, according to a new report from ABI Research.
