Microsoft’s purchase of a 1.6% stake in social networking site Facebook for $US 240 million has been welcomed by advertisers in Asia and hailed by some analysts as a landmark deal for Microsoft. Antrix leases Ku-Band capacity on MEASAT-3 for India’s DTH market
Kuala Lumpur - MEASAT Satellite Systems Sdn Bhd and Antrix Corporation Ltd, the commercial arm of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), have signed an agreement to lease Ku-Band capacity on the MEASAT-3 satellite. Antrix will lease eight Ku-band transponders on MEASAT-3 with an option to increase the number subsequently.
