Shotoku Broadcast Systems, the international manufacturer of high-quality, easy-to-use, and reliable robotic and manual camera support systems, has partnered with Nils Hinsch, a highly experienced technical and commercial representative for broadcast and production systems across Germany, to provide the highest level of service and support in that key market. James Eddershaw, managing director of Shotoku UK, made the announcement from headquarters in Sunbury on Thames, UK, noting that investment in a local partner reflects the Company’s commitment to its growing presence in the region.
“Germany is, and has always been, an important market for Shotoku with clients right across the ARD and commercial broadcast sectors,” said Eddershaw. “We are dedicated to ensuring our customers receive first-class support on a local level backed by the unparalleled expertise of our UK-based support and sales engineering teams. As the German market grows, we are delighted to add Nils as our local partner knowing his knowledge of the market and technical expertise will guide our customers at every stage of their interaction with Shotoku.”
Hinsch will serve as first line pre- and post-sales support for Shotoku’s significant customer base in Germany. His extensive experience working with remote cameras and production systems, dates back 20 years working at MAT in Hamburg, where he acquired detailed knowledge of Shotoku systems by working closely on several large joint projects across Europe. Hinsch will also lead the Germany technical pre-sales activities providing details to clients of the wide range of systems and solutions Shotoku has to offer.
Added Eddershaw, “Nil’s understanding of live productions and the need for exceptional quality and reliability matches Shotoku’s ethos and will ensure customers continue to experience seamless local support before sales, during installation, and for years after.”
Hinsch will work alongside, Peter Pannier, who has been a Shotoku partner since it launched in 2005. Pannier is a genuine industry veteran known and respected throughout Germany during his long career at the heart of the broadcast technology market there.
