Gusto Worldwide Media confirmed that it will be launching a content block in the Philippines with 100 new hours of original food programming. This is the second deal Gusto has signed with Asian Cable Communications Inc. (ACCION), a channel and content distribution company that previously acquired 60 hours. Gusto’s programming will be added to ACCION’s channel Pop Life TV as a branded block with a one-hour daily slot.
The new deal speaks to Gusto’s popularity with viewers in the Philippines, who have tuned in regularly to Flour Power, One World Kitchen, and A is for Apple. After giving their viewers a taste of Gusto, Pop Life TV is adding more flavour to their lineup with:
Crate to Plate (4×30), Fish the Dish (30×30), The Urban Vegetarian (15×30),
The Latin Kitchen (15×30), One World Kitchen season 3 (28×30), Fresh Market Dinners (10×30), Flour Power season 2 (13×30), Bonacini’s Italy (30×30), Spencer’s BIG 30 (26×30), Pressure’s ON (8×30), and Let’s Brunch (8×30).
Gusto Worldwide Media’s sales team is ramping up for a busy fall and will be exploring opportunities for its food programming and innovative channel Gusto TV with new partners at markets in Amsterdam, France, and Singapore.
