Cannes, France – Scripps Networks Interactive introduced a new slate of original productions for MIPTV 2017. The portfolio features signature lifestyle programming from across the home, food and travel categories.
“Viewership of lifestyle programming is rising and the compelling nature of our content is reflected in our U.S. ratings success with all six networks up in 2016,” said Hud Woodle, Vice President, Programme Licensing. “In addition to our broad programme sales library, we are bringing to market all-new content that includes property and design, buying and selling, cooking and entertaining, competition and adventure series.”
New talent debuting at this market include mixed martial arts fighter Bristol Marunde and his wife Aubrey in Flip or Flop Vegas; renovator Ally Mahon, who has a passion for restoring neglected old homes in Pittsburgh, in Vintage Rehab; cookbook author and foodie Ayesha Curry, who invites us into her home to share her quick and tasty recipes in Ayesha’s Homemade; and Trip Testers’ Jason Kessler and Jeff Miller determine if the activities at the world’s most popular vacation destinations live up to the hype.
New faces are joined by well-loved Scripps Networks experts, including Texas design and remodeling pros Chip and Joanna Gaines who return for an all new series of Fixer Upper; Tia Mowry takes us inside her life, sharing her recipes for success and for dinner in Tia Mowry at Home; and host Don Wildman is back searching for Mysteries at the Museum, digging into the world’s greatest institutions to unearth extraordinary relics that reveal incredible secrets from the past.
