CJ E&M is proud to announce the appointment of Anne Chan as Chief Operating Officer of its Southeast Asia office to cope with the Group’s major development plan in Asia after their huge success in Korea.

Anne, based in CJ E&M’s Southeast Asia office in Hong Kong, will be overseeing the Affiliate Sales and Advertising Sales division. With her steady track record for launching new businesses, Anne will be taking the lead to expand CJ E&M’s reiognal business from driving sponsorship sales and branded content productions to cultivating different business opportunities in the region.
Prior to CJ E&M, Anne was the General Manager of LI TV and has led the team since it established in 2008. Back then, Anne was the Vice President of Network Distribution for Asian Food Channel, she launched the channel in Asia, securing strategic business relationships regionally. She went on to Measat Satellite Systems in Kuala Lumpur, where she began building the broadcast business for M3, a brand-new US$300 million satellite as well as M3a satellite for high-definition programming.
As the Director of Broadcast Sales, she brought in a strong line-up of new channels such as National Geographic HD, National Geographic Channel, National Geographic Wild Channel, Voom HD, FOX Crime, Fx, ESPN StarSports, The Golf Channel, The History Channel, Crime and Investigation Network, among others, garnering a revenue of US$15 million in 2008.
