“Is the rich world aware of how four billion of the six billion live? If we were aware, we would want to help out, we’d want to get involved,” said Bill Gates.
The earthquake that shook Nepal six weeks ago equally shook the entire world. It was the worst natural disaster to strike Nepal that killed thousands of people and rendered even more number of people homeless. To help Nepal earthquake victims, aid has arrived from all corners of the world through govt. as well as non-govt. organisations, relief organisations, online relief initiatives and fund-raising & donations.
In this time of distress, THINKERZ & SMMARDS (Sanman Mahila Multipurpose and Rural Development Society) came together to extend their support for the earthquake victims by means of ROOH KAMBDI, the fund raising concert by singer par excellence TOCHI RAINA.
The concert which took place on 11 June at St. Andrews Auditorium, Bandra, Mumbai was the debut performance by Tochi Raina’s Band Of Bandagi in the city.

All funds collected from the concert will be sent to Nepal under the supervision Ms. Babita Verma, President – SMMARDS (NGO) to make sure the aid reaches the needy.
