Registration for RioContentMarket’s One-to-One Meetings will be open from 1 to 5 December. RioContentMarket is the biggest audiovisual content production event in Latin America, open to the television and digital media industry, and will be held from 25 to 27 February in Rio de Janeiro. According to regulations, any legal corporation registered in the green and silver categories may apply. Each legal corporation may submit up to three projects for up to five companies. Therefore, companies own the projects submitted to one-to-one meetings, as well as holding the rights and authorisations to develop and produce them.
Projects must be made available in English. Executives receive requests for meetings and have access to all information related to the projects and select which projects they consider relevant, scheduling meetings according to the profile of their companies and what they are looking for at RioContentMarket.
Replies informing whether a project has been accepted will be provided until 30 January. On 6 February, production companies that own the submitted projects will receive the meeting schedule for RioContentMarket. Dates and times of meetings, forwarded by the event’s organisation may not be changed.
The representatives of the accepted projects, with meetings scheduled should identify themselves 1 hour before their first meeting at the information desk in front of the RioContentMarket’s One-to-One Meetings Room. For subsequent meetings, project representatives should arrive at the meeting place 10 minutes before the scheduled time. Each meeting will have a maximum duration of 20 minutes. Submitting projects to the One-to-One Meetings does not ensure that meetings will be arranged, as the players themselves will select the projects with whom they would like to meet.
