The Birthday Boys
Toronto, Canada – Tricon Films & Television has announced the international launch of IFC’s two new original scripted comedies The Birthday Boys and The Spoils of Babylon at MIPCOM 2013. Tricon is also exclusive worldwide distributor of the IFC’s previously launched comedies Maron (23 x 30′), Comedy Bang! Bang! (30 x 30’) and Bunk (10 x 30’).
The Birthday Boys (10 x 30’ HD) is executive produced by Bob Odenkirk (Breaking Bad, Mr. Show) and Ben Stiller (the upcoming The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Zoolander).
The Spoils of Babylon (6 x 30’ HD) is produced by Funny or Die and executive produced by Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, Matt Piedmont, Andrew Steele and Nate Young. Steele and Piedmont created and wrote the series, and Piedmont directed.
