London/India – BBC Worldwide has appointed Myleeta Aga as general manager & creative head of BBC Worldwide India Productions. Myleeta will take up her new post at BBCW’s production base in Mumbai on October 14. Myleeta will report to Colin Jarvis, director of international formats for BBCW. Formerly content head and co-founder of the TV guide channel What’s On India, Myleeta takes over from Saul Nassé who returns to the UK in November to take on the role of controller of learning at the BBC starting in January. As the new GM & creative head, Myleeta will be overseeing BBCW India’s current productions of the Baby Borrowers for NDTV, DWTS for Sony Entertainment and The Fast and the Gorgeous for MTV as well as work with a wide range of local talent and broadcasters in India.
