Singapore – ESPN STAR Sports (ESS) announced the promotion of Adam Zecha to the newly-created position of executive vice president, head of sales, South East Asia with immediate effect. Zecha, who oversees the network’s affiliate & multimedia sales joined the company in 1996 as director of affiliate sales and over the years, Zecha handled the expanded portfolio with new markets and additional responsibilities, and till recently was responsible for affiliate & multimedia sales for South East Asia as senior vice president. In his new position as executive vice president and head of sales, Zecha will assume an expanded role, which includes two additional portfolios, advertising sales and the event management group. Charles Less, senior vice president, advertising and digital media sales and Harvey Davis, vice president, event management group will now report directly to Zecha. Zecha will continue to report to Manu Sawhney, managing director, ESPN STAR Sports, who said, “Our organization continues to grow and with the introduction of new opportunities across traditional and new media, Adam together with his expanded team will play a critical role in chartering the next growth phase of our sales business.”
