Star TV UK and BSkyB (Sky) have inked a new carriage deal that will enable Sky’s customers to have access to an expanded range of Star TV’s entertainment channels and programming. Endemol’s multiplatform hit, The Money Drop, has been picked up in three new Asian territories, bringing the total number of episodes sold worldwide to more than 1,000. Endemol India has been commissioned by Star Network’s Star Jalsha channel to produce a first series of 26 episodes. Mumbai/Hong Kong - Parent company STAR Group says JALSHA launched successfully in West Bengal, India by garnering 92 gross rating points in its debut week.
