Disney Junior begins production on first original TV movie

Production has begun on the first Disney Junior Original Movie, Lucky Duck, a music-filled, animated adventure at sea starring the voices of Christian Borle and Megan Hilty (both of Smash), and Tom Cavanaugh (Royal Pains). NBC announces 2013/ 2014 upfront slate – “Smash” cancelled

CBS adapts Armoza Formats’ The Ran Quadruplets

Armoza Formats’ scripted drama The Ran Quadruplets, which aired for two seasons on Israeli satcaster YES, is in development at CBS, in partnership with CBS TV Studios and showrunner David Marshall Grant. UNI scores positive ratings across Asia Pacific

Singapore – Universal Networks International (UNI) continues its upward trend as its channels show positive growth in ratings and viewership in the first half of 2012. According to UNI, Universal Channel is one of the fastest growing pay-TV channels in Southeast Asia. Universal City – NBC’s second season of Smash will feature Jennifer Hudson, Oscar, Golden Globe and Grammy-winning actress-singer.
