Youtube has reached an agreement with Indian broadcasters Sony Entertainment Television (SET), Colors, ImagineTV, Star India, and VikatanTV, to bring their content onto the video streaming website. In total, more than 19,000 full episodes of 300 programmes in six different languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Gujarati, and Punjabi – will be offered to Youtube’s Indian viewers. Hong Kong - Sony Entertainment Television (SET) has acquired new dramas, HawthoRNe and Drop Dead Diva. HawthoRNe marks Jada Pinkett Smith's (wife of Will Smith) foray into TV after about 17 years of acting in feature films. As an executive producer on the show, Smith also plays the lead, compassionate head nurse Hawthorne, who goes out of her way to cut hospital red tape for patients.
