ITV has commissioned a third series of the hit Sunday night drama Trigger Point. The second series, which aired in January this year, had audiences gripped to their TV screens, averaging 8.1m viewers across the series. It has been streamed 30m times on ITVX and was the second most watched drama on ITV1 this year (Mr Bates vs The Post Office takes the number one slot). ITV’s Head of Drama, Polly Hill has commissioned thrilling espionage drama, Secret Service, from the pen of ITV News anchor, Tom Bradby. Adapted from Tom’s tense, topical novel of the same title, Secret Service, is a suspenseful, fresh-from-the-headlines story deeply rooted in today’s political landscape.
