The deal was completed in New Delhi, following a meeting between the CEOs of both companies. The agreement will help build cultural ties between Korea and India. Doordarshan to increase satellite transmission
Prasar Bharati's terrestrial channel Doordarshan will be enhancing its satellite reach in North East India, according to The Economic Times. The report added that the network's terrestrial transmitters were being replaced by satellites and that the necessary infrastructure for the switch will have to be set up in the region.
