Seven Network ad revenues top $A1 billion in first half
Sydney- The Seven Network's ratings dominance is paying off handsomely as its share of the commercial FTA networks’ advertising revenues in the first half of 2007 reached 39.18%, the highest-ever for the broadcaster, excluding the second half of 2000 which was boosted by the Olympic Games. ABS-CBN profit grew 77% in the first half of 2007
Manila- ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corp., the Philippines’ largest broadcaster, posted a 77% year-on-year increase in net income to P739 million $US16.4 million) for the first half of 2007 on the back of improving advertising and subscription-based businesses.
