Sydney- Former Network 10 Head of Programming Kristin Marlow has been appointed General Manager, BigPond Movies, telco Telstra’s movie downloads and online DVD rentals service. Marlow replaces Marshall Heald, who in May was named Manager of SBS Online, multicultural broadcaster SBS’s Internet division. BigPond Group Managing Director, Justin Milne, said Marlow would lead the growth and development of BigPond Movies as it expands its movie libraries and “introduces more Australians to the ease and convenience of BigPond Movies.” Marlow spent more than 18 years working in film and television, including stints with TV3 New Zealand and pay-TV platforms Foxtel and Optus. Most recently she worked for IPTV start-up ReelTime Infotainment.
