Singapore – BBC Worldwide Channels has launched three BBC branded channels - BBC Knowledge, BBC Lifestyle and BBC Entertainment, with Taiwan telecommunications provider Chung Hwa Telecom’s (CHT) IPTV platform, MOD. CASBAA/Hong Kong - Jana Bennett, President Worldwide Networks and global BBC iPlayer, has shared latest plans to launch BBC branded channels in Thailand in early 2012. In her first appearance at CASBAA, Bennett will also officially unveil new channel launches in Taiwan and Indonesia. Xbox moves beyond gaming
Microsoft has announced a slew of deals that will put TV content from 50 content providers in more than 20 countries onto its Xbox console. Subjected to geographic restrictions, these will be available to the existing 35 million users of the service.
