BBC News has appointed Jon Donnison as the new Australia correspondent, commencing early August 2013. Donnison has been the BBC’s Gaza and West Bank correspondent for the past three years.  Based in Sydney, Donnison will report on the latest political, cultural and business news from Australia for international news channel BBC World News and BBC.com, as well as covering stories for the BBC’s news services within the UK. Elemental Technologies OTT and catch-up for Foxtel

Oregon, U.S - Elemental Technologies has announced that its video processing systems have been selected by Australia’s Foxtel for its on-demand and catch-up television services. BBC Worldwide sells “The Incredible Mr Goodwin” internationally

BBC Worldwide has sold UKTV’s five-part series The Incredible Mr Goodwin to 11 broadcasters in Australia, Germany, America, Russia, Scandinavia, Holland and Spain.  The Incredible Mr Goodwin is a Crook/Objective co-production for Watch (UKTV). The show will air on ABC2 late June. Ten Network to broadcast 2014 Winter Olympic Games

Australia’s Ten Network Holdings has announced that it has signed an agreement with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to broadcast the XXII Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia, in 2014.
