South Korea - Data from the Korea Communications Commission (KCC) has revealed that telco KT had 988,000 subscribers for its IPTV service 'Qook TV', with 703,000 customers using its broadcast service and around 285,000 customers using its VOD-only service, reports The Korea Herald. Korea’s LG Dacom sees IPTV sales soar in Q3
South Korean telco LG Dacom saw revenues from its IPTV service 'myLGtv' soar 76% in the third quarter of this year to reach KRW 8.35bn (US$ 7mn), having a positive impact on the operator's overall profit for the period. SingTel halves Barclays Premier League cost to consumer
Singapore - SingTel has unveiled its price plans for the Barclays Premier League, which it won the rights to for three years commencing August 2010. The Barclays Premier League will cost S$23 per month and will include all 380 Premier League matches. This includes one high-definition set-top box.
