Sitaare Zameen Par follows Gulshan Arora; a basketball coach whose life takes an unexpected turn after a drunk-driving incident lands him in community service. As part of his sentence, he is assigned to train a team of neurodivergent players for a basketball tournament, and what begins as a reluctant responsibility soon transforms into a deeply personal journey. Directed by R.S. Prasanna, the film stars Aamir Khan as Gulshan and Genelia Deshmukh as Sunita, Gulshan’s wife in pivotal roles alongside Naman Misra, Rishabh Jain, Aroush Datta, Ashish Pendse, Simran Mangeshkar, Vedant Sharma, Samvit Desai, Rishi Shahani, Aayush Bhansali, and Gopikrishnan K Varma — all real individuals rather than trained actors — bring a rare sense of authenticity, innocence, and heartfelt emotion to the narrative.
