Talpa Studios doubles down in Hungary with the debut of Catch Us If You Can and second season of Most Wanted

February 25, 2026 by TVA Editor

Talpa Studios has secured two new commissions in Hungary. RTL Hungary has confirmed the local debut of the continent-spanning reality chase Catch Us If You Can and ordered a second season of Most Wanted, both co-created by Signal.Stream and Talpa Studios. The deals build on the strong collaboration between Talpa Studios, Signal.Stream and RTL Hungary, following the exceptional performances of the first season of Most Wanted in the Hungarian market. The second season, consisting of 10 daily episodes, is scheduled to premiere in 2026. Catch Us If You Can (10 daily episodes) is set to launch on RTL Hungary in 2026, with episodes also available daily on RTL+.

After The Jump, The Floor and Most Wanted, Catch Us If You Can is the fourth Talpa Studios format picked up by RTL Hungary. In this high-stakes reality chase, celebrity targets go on the run across Europe while multiple teams track them down, with public tips, timed challenges and daily eliminations constantly threatening their cover. The format is co-developed by RTL Creative Unit and Signal.Stream, in collaboration with Talpa Studios’ StukTV. The series launched in the Netherlands last October with a powerful multi-screen premiere across RTL platforms, delivering 792,000 viewers and a 31.1% market share (25–54) on RTL 4 Saturday primetime, while also driving younger audiences from YouTube to Videoland.

The recommissioning of Most Wanted follows an outstanding first season of the immersive reality escape series on RTL Hungary. The premiere attracted 657,000 viewers, delivering a 28.8% market share among 18–59 and an impressive 51.1% among 18–29-year-olds, marking RTL Hungary’s biggest launch in years. Across its full run, the season achieved an average 24.5% market share, becoming the most-watched format in Hungary during the autumn of 2025 and the number one primetime show of RTL Hungary in 2025. Every episode won its timeslot.

Sebastian van Barneveld, Director Global Distribution at Talpa Studios said,  “Most Wanted is a true event format: it reaches platforms so quickly that it feels almost live, while still trending on social media and driving audiences straight into the show. Having already grown into a powerful streaming brand on Joyn and Videoland in Germany and the Netherlands, it’s exciting to see the format now perform at the same high level on linear television, with many territories poised to follow. Catch Us If You Can is built on the same fast, social-driven discovery principles and has delivered strong viewership from the outset. As our first international sale, it is a real credit to RTL Hungary – who are true partners recognizing proven successes early and localize and deliver them with exceptional care and quality.”
