V10 Entertainment, the media company and owner of Venture 10 Studio Group, Vin Di Bona Productions (America’s Funniest Videos), and Fishbowl Worldwide Media, has announced the acquisition of Towerhouse, a content creation and platform management company known for powering brands including the Women’s Sports Network (WSN), Comics Explained, Olympian gymnast Ian Gunther, and fitness icon Ronnie Coleman.
Towerhouse was founded in 2021 by former YouTube and WarnerMedia executive Parker Jones. Following the acquisition, Jones will remain CEO of Towerhouse, reporting directly to V10’s CEO John Stevens and President Carter Skeath. Jones will also spearhead further V10 digital investments and partnerships as part of the deal.
“Parker is a best-in-class executive who knows the digital landscape incredibly well,” said Stevens. “In just a few years, he built a very successful company with a ton of momentum. V10 is making a big bet on Parker and his team with this investment, which aligns perfectly with our content strategy and elevates V10’s owned brands and channel services businesses during this transitional time in audience engagement.”
Towerhouse is an industry leader in developing and monetizing premium YouTube channels for sports, fitness, racing, and anime rights holders. Leveraging advanced AI-driven insights and hands-on creative strategies, Towerhouse rapidly scales audiences and maximizes monetization, proven by its record-breaking growth of the Women’s Sports Network. With V10’s extensive content libraries and global distribution reach, Towerhouse is uniquely positioned to redefine how premium IP thrives on digital platforms.
“As the industry shifts toward digital-first audiences, Towerhouse will be key in driving V10’s IP across channels,” added Skeath. “Parker and his team have refined a strategic content-driven approach that will expand V10’s offerings for traditional and digital partners seeking to build and optimize audience growth and engagement.”
“Partnering with V10 gives us access to the largest clip library on the planet, along with all the technology and capabilities that come with it,” added Jones. “Towerhouse knows how to turn content libraries into growing, monetizable audiences—especially in sports and entertainment, where rights management and sustainable audience growth matter more than ever.”
Towerhouse recently launched a strategic collaboration with industry-leading sports technology company WSC Sports. Additionally, it has secured significant new partnerships focused on rights management. Moving forward, the company is significantly expanding its presence in motorsports, anime, and elite sports leagues, positioning itself as the go-to partner for premium rights holders seeking best-in-class audience growth and monetization.
V10 owns the industry’s largest content catalog of over 2.6 million UGC videos and controls global distribution rights for ABC’s America’s Funniest Videos. The Towerhouse acquisition is one of the first deals shepherded by Skeath who joined the media company as President in January from Viacom Global Distribution with oversight across all of V10’s distribution, digital, FAST, and original content production.
V10 distributes a large portfolio of IP across 27 digital channels, 1600+ hours of owned content on FAST platforms, 35 seasons of AFV (ABC), Follow Me (CW), Blue Collar Auction (Peacock), Totally Funny Kids & Totally Funny Animals (CW) and World’s Funniest Videos (FOX). The company’s slate of originals includes the AFV spinoff America’s Funniest People for ABC, true-crime procedural Inquisitors for Amazon Prime Video, Wild & Weird for Discovery/Max, Visionaries with Keanu Reeves & Gard Hollinger for Roku and the upcoming Combat Kings, a live boxing and MMA event series.
The Towerhouse acquisition was brokered by Sebastian Wulff and James Creech of Quartermast Advisors with David Hernand and Julian Alsarhn of Simpson Thatcher on behalf of V10 and Clarion Capital. Financial terms were not disclosed.
