ROCHESTER – EI Live!, premier trade show for the AV and automation industry, is spreading its wings and moving to a new venue in 2019, as well as embracing new industry sectors in an expanded format.
Having dominated the landscape as the UK’s only AV and automation trade show for the last nine years, in 2019 EI Live! will expand to incorporate the commercial AV and automation, and electrical contracting sectors.
The show will also move to the Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre, a brand-new venue in the South East of England. This new venue will help elevate EI Live! onto the global stage, and offers new facilities for exhibitors, visitors and media personnel.
New Zones
All Things Media, the organisers of EI Live!, will leverage its experience in three complementary markets to enhance the opportunity for both visitors and exhibitors to get the most out of the show. In 2019, the show will become the go-to destination for anyone looking to specify or install smart building technology.
The Residential, Commercial and Electrical zones will have something for everyone working in the industry; whether they’re directly installing smart building technology, or working in related fields such as architects, interior designers, developers or specifiers. Those from major verticals including health, education and the corporate sector will also not want to miss the show.
Residential Zone
EI Live! has become the number one destination for industry professionals looking for the latest home cinema and smart home technology. Those looking to get their hands the latest and greatest residential technologies will not want to miss EI Live! 2019, as the Residential zone is set to be bigger and better than ever before.
Commercial
New for 2019: The commercial AV and automation sectors will play a major part in the newly-updated EI Live! trade show. For the first time ever, technologies covering the corporate, education and health sectors will be available to view. This will be in addition to technologies ranging from digital signage to integrated speaker systems.
Electrical Contracting
New for 2019: Electrical contractors are ideally placed to take advantage of the growing smart building market. That’s why for the first time ever, EI Live! will feature a dedicated electrical contracting zone. This zone will give electrical contractors everything they need to get the most out of the smart building industry.
State-of-the-Art Venue
EI Live! 2019 will be moving to a new £30 million venue in the heart of the South East of England. The Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre is a state-of-the-art building which perfectly mirrors the high-tech installation industry.
Situated just 34 miles South West of Central London, the venue has fast transport links covering every conceivable mode of transport. Gatwick is a 50-minute drive away and its 35 mins via rail from London Waterloo.
Farnborough has its own business airport, has 3,500 free parking spaces and is the home to some of the UK’s top technology companies. High-quality hotel accommodation is also situated close by.
The venue benefits from spacious reception areas and a spectacular roof terrace, while it is also equipped with a full media centre with broadcast capabilities.
Learn To Earn
EI Live! has become synonymous with excellent learning opportunities, which organisers recently enhanced even further for the 2018 show. In 2019, the Learning Zone will be back again, with top industry players set to take to the stage to impart valuable knowledge that visitors can take away and put into practice.
