Armoza Formats’ new prime time reality competition Curvy Supermodel has now been commissioned in Brazil by one of the leading broadcasters, SBT, for a first season of 10 episodes, while a second season has been licensed by Germany’s RTLII.
The modeling competition aired a successful first season in Germany last September and was most recently licensed in Spain by Mediaset. The show has also been picked up in France, Poland and the Netherlands. Produced by Tresor TV, Curvy Supermodel is set to change how we define beauty, in a nationwide casting show that searches for the face of the future – with power, style and curves.
Only the best will be selected out of thousands looking to find a place in the tough and discriminative modeling industry, and will confront their issues and face challenges that will prepare them for their career. An expert jury will mentor them and choose who has what it takes to continue to the next episode. We’ll accompany them on their inspiring journeys, and while all will defy society’s stereotype, only one will win the title and the modeling contract.
Avi Armoza, CEO of Armoza Formats, “Curvy Supermodel has a strong and inherent truth that is relatable across the globe in today’s society. We’re thrilled at the positive responses – both from the viewers and from the industry – and look forward to seeing the second season and working with SBT on the Brazilian adaptation.”
