ITV Studios Global Entertainment announced that it has secured deals for Hell’s Kitchen USA in Asia. Series 7-12 of the American series have been acquired by Discovery India, while series 11 has been bought by South Korea’s CJ.
The Asian sales were negotiated by Hyeonza Hong, VP Sales, Asia, and Elsie Choi, Senior Sales Executive, Pan-Asia, S.E. Asia and India, for ITV Studios Global Entertainment. Hell’s Kitchen has now been produced in 13 territories worldwide, including the U.S., UK, Germany, France and Spain.
ITV Studios also announced that ITV Studios Nordic has been commissioned by Finland’s MTV3 to produce a local version (12 x 60’) of the series which will premiere in autumn 2013. Hosted by Michelin-starred Finnish chef Sauli Kemppainen, Hell’s Kitchen Finland will be shot in a real restaurant that will open in Helsinki in July. Hell’s Kitchen Finland is executive produced by Aram Aflatuni and Heli Koskela and series produced by Heli Koskela with assistant producer Heidi Räihä for ITV Studios Nordic.
