India – BIG CBS Networks is launching the fourth channel from its stable, Spark Punjabi, on 14 January. The company previously launched three channels – BIG CBS PRIME, BIG CBS LOVE and BIG CBS SPARK, in the country. Targeting the 15-years old and above audience, the channel will broadcast the latest seasons of international shows such as Jerry Springer, Hawaii Five-O and America’s Next Top Model, all dubbed in Punjabi. The channel will also feature a mix of Punjabi music and local programming. Spark Punjabi will be available across the Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh (PHCHP) region. It will be distributed on digital and analogue platforms, with an estimated reach of more than 6 million cable and satellite households in the region.
