Singapore – StarHub and Fox International Channels (FIC) today announced a multi-year carriage renewal non-exclusive deal, the first under the new media market conduct code as set out by the Media Development Authority, Singapore. Also, as part of the deal, Malay and Tamil language tracks will be made available to viewers of Nat Geo Wild from today, in an agreement to provide localized content that is relevant to viewers in Singapore. The availability of the two language tracks on Nat Geo Wild, are in addition to the English and Mandarin audio, making it the first channel in Singapore available in all four official languages in the country. Both parties also agreed to explore innovative packaging that will add greater value to the operator’s customers such as SVOD channels and themed packages.
