London/Cannes – Format and events programming distributor Zeal Entertainment, part of the Digital Rights Group (DRG), has been named distributor of the Miss World Festival in 2008, the fourth year it has secured international rights for the property. Miss World Festival is an annual international beauty pageant featuring participants from 120 countries. The 1 x 120’ show includes the presentation of all contestants, footage from events that contestants participate in during their month-long stay in the host country, as well as the competition for the crown among the ten finalists. The 2007 Miss World Festival took place in Sanya, an island resort of Hainan, China, with the event details for 2008 to be announced. Zeal Entertainment has previously sold the show to over 100 territories worldwide including Korea, New Zealand, the Middle East, Russia, South Africa, France, Romania, UK and Brazil.
