Bruce Mann, CEO of XYZ Networks, and Nikki Warburton, Group Director, Product, Sales & Marketing, Austar, have announced their departures. This news follows Foxtel’s AUD 1.9 million acquisition of Austar last month. Previously, Foxtel and Austar shared a 50:50 ownership of XYZ Entertainment. Breaking: Australia’s FOXTEL and AUSTAR set to merge after regulator ACCC gives green light
FOXTEL and AUSTAR will join forces to create a national subscription television service for all consumers after the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) today accepted an undertaking from FOXTEL and green lit the transaction to merge the companies.
