Women lead subscription television business
Australia - Women are better represented at senior levels of the subscription television industry than the national average, a new survey has found. Females represent 32% of board directors, 26% of chief executives and 34% of executives across the industry, according to data released for the first time by peak body ASTRA. Singapore - Universal Networks International today shared statistics that revealed the types of content and programming Asian women want on television, during its High Heeled Warriors breakfast session at the National Museum of Singapore. BBC Worldwide’s production studios in France and India have secured commissions to produce local versions of The Week the Women Went, a BBC Productions format licensed internationally by BBC Worldwide.
