Discovery HD launches in Korea on Skylife
Seoul – Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific and Korea Digital Satellite Broadcasting (SkyLife) announced that they have launched a 24-hour Discovery HD channel in Korea on the SkyLife HD platform. Discovery HD is available on channel 82 and will launch as part of the SkyLife HD package. Skylife HD services are currently available in 160,000 households in Korea. Government’s $1.5b broadband spend to go ahead
New Zealand - Communications and IT Minister Steve Joyce says the government will go ahead and spend $1.5 billion on upgrading New Zealand's broadband fibre. Joyce confirmed that the spend will go ahead amid speculation over the government's plans for broadband, and whether it is committed to spending $1.5 billion.
