Singapore – After failing to strike a deal with ESPN STAR Sports, StarHub has opted to produce its own Football Channel to air English Premier League soccer. StarHub’s Sensasi channel to go on air from August 6
Singapore- Triple-play service provider StarHub will launch dedicated Malay entertainment channel, Sensasi (‘sensation’ in Malay) on the StarHub Digital Cable Channel 40 from 7pm on August 6, 2007. Content costs blamed for StarHub rates hike
Singapore – From 11 July 2007, StarHub’s pay-TV prices will rise by around 20% across its Basic Group and Value Pack subscription fees. Hardest hit will be sports fans however, who from October face a 66% hike in the Sports Group subs fee, up from S$15 to S$25 (from US$9.70 to US$16.20) per month.
